Availability analysis definition
Availability analysis describes the process of identifying the number of members belonging to a minority or a disadvantaged group who are qualified for any available position within the organization. Those are often candidates who suffer discrimination within a culture.
Availability analysis can be done from internal and external sources. For internal sources the employer seeks the people within an organization who are considered to have potential for further promotions and trainings for a specific job. For external sources the employer seeks candidates from a particular area, called ‘reasonable recruitment area’.
